When Bing (www.bing.com) was first announced, I went to blind search (http://blindsearch.fejus.com) to compare Bing, Google, and Yahoo. Google and Bing tied on the pure "which results are better" test.
I went to Bing to check it out - and the UI is WAY better. Once you have moused over a search result and seen the two paragraph listing summaries Google will no longer be your default.
In a few weeks of usage I've found that when Bing can't find something Google can't either - but Bing does a better job of leading you to the answer. Look up "apple" on Google and you get a page of Apple Computer links. Look up "apple" on Bing and you get the same thing - plus some links on the left hand side in case you weren't looking for computers. One click away are results on how to grow apple trees, along with a more hints.
If you want to figure out what is decimating your apple crop Bing is an order of magnitude better than Google. The answer is a quick one or two clicks away, and you can put all those brain cells devoted to clever composition of search queries to some better use.
Count one big Bing fan.
